Call for proposals on structural integrity and systems performance.

The Foundation is working with the Alan Turing Institute (ATI), the UK’s National Institute for Data Science, on a five-year GBP10 million data-centric engineering programme.  The ATI is now recruiting a strategic partner director who will be the academic lead and public face of the programme, accountable in this capacity to both the ATI and the Foundation. The closing date for applications is 29 August 2016. For more details see the ATI website https://turing.ac.uk/jobs/strategic-partner-director-lloyds-register-foundation/

One of the aims of the programme is to deliver the recommendations in the Foundation’s Foresight review of big data. The ATI has initiated a series of open lectures, data summits and invitation only workshops across a wide range of data related subjects, and a full listing of these can be found here: https://turing.ac.uk/events/.
